Service Description

Developing Confident, Situationally Aware, Consistent Tacklers The goal of our Elite Small Group Training is simple but demanding: to develop confident, situationally aware, and consistent tacklers who can perform under game-speed pressure. This program is designed for athletes who want more than reps — they want understanding, ownership, and measurable improvement. How We Develop Elite Tacklers Film Review & Performance Analysis Every athlete learns to see the game the way great defenders do. We break down both high-level tackling examples and common mistakes, then analyze each athlete’s own performance. This film-based approach accelerates learning, sharpens decision-making, and creates immediate carryover to game situations. Tackling Summary 2025 Training Every Phase of Tackling We train the complete tackling process, not just contact. Athletes are coached through: Pre-Contact / Open-Field Tackling – how to close space, track the ball carrier, control leverage, and arrive with balance Contact Phase – how to deliver a safe, effective, and dominant tackle using proper body position, strike timing, and finishing mechanics Position-specific techniques are emphasized so athletes learn where, when, and why certain techniques apply based on their role on the field. Situational Awareness Training Great tacklers don’t just tackle — they solve problems in real time. Athletes learn which techniques to apply in specific situations, such as tackling from behind, in space, or in turnover-opportunity moments. For example, when tackling from behind, athletes are taught to secure the tackle while violently attacking the football using a tomahawk finish, increasing the likelihood of forced fumbles and game-changing plays. Small Group Environment = Faster Development Training groups are intentionally kept small to maximize: Individual coaching and feedback Higher rep counts Faster technical corrections Greater confidence through mastery Athletes don’t get lost in the crowd — they get coached. Progressive, Confidence-Building Structure All drills follow a clear progression, gradually increasing in speed and intensity as athletes demonstrate improved technique and confidence. This ensures athletes build skill the right way — under control first, then at game speed.
